Dr. Becky’s Toffee

1 c. butter

1 c. sugar

½ c water

1 Tbsp corn syrup

Put in heavy pan and cook to hard crack (305).

Remove from heat and stir in ½ tsp vanilla.  Pour onto foil

lined baking sheet.  Top with ½ to 1 c. chocolate chips.

Smooth out after chips are slightly melted.  Sprinkle sliced

almonds evenly on top.  Cool and break apart.

Recipe can be doubled.
