Fruit Cocktail Cake

1 c. flour

1 c. sugar

½ tsp salt

1 tsp soda

1 egg, beaten

1 can fruit cocktail

Mix dry ingredients, then add egg and fruit.  Don’t use mixer. 

Pour into 9 x 12 greased baking pan.  Top with ½ c brown sugar

and ½ c nuts. Bake at 350 for 30 min.  Serve with whipped topping.
